Depending on your back yard area, anywhere from 18″ to 36″ away from the inside edge of the pool. Preferably between 30″ to 36″ because you will need at least 24″ to get out of the pool. The fence must be installed either as a “closed-loop” (with all mesh fence sections connected to one another using the spring-loaded safety latches), or the two ends of the fence must be securely fastened to a wall or similar structure.
Depending on your backyard area, you should put the fence around 18″ to 36″ away from the inside edge of the pool provided you have enough space to walk on both sides of the fence. Keep in mind, you will need at least 24″ to get out of the pool.
The easiest way to measure for your fence if it’s not going in a straight line is to do it with a ball of string. Lay out the string where you plan your installation and then measure the string.
There is no gate with this system only manual openings. Every 12 feet a section ends and a new one begins. At the start and end of each section you have a child safety latch at the top of the fence, you are able to enter and exit at these points. You can addGuardian’s self-closing self latching gate but you need to drill holes for it if you wanted to do so. If you’d like a gate, please call us to order.
Our No Holes Pool Fence provides a sturdy base for our poles to stand from. These bases, when connected and filled with water, become extremely difficult to move, securing your fence in place, yet upon emptying, are easy to remove and store.
We recommend establishing a schedule to clean your fence a minimum of four times a year. To clean your fence, rinse the mesh fence and bases with cold water to remove any deteriorating pool chemicals. A mild liquid detergent may be used to clean the border material of the mesh fence, however, do not exert excessive force on the mesh panel as it could stretch the fabric over time.
If pool chemicals or debris get into the pin guide holes, remove the fence pins and flush out the holes with a garden hose. When cleaning your patio with harsh cleaners such as acid, chlorine, bleach, etc., please ensure you dismantle the fence and remove it from the patio area. Your fence is not warrantied against chemical damage.
The No Holes Pool Fence requires minimal maintenance. We recommend regularly lubricating the spring-loaded safety latches by applying a silicone spray to the hook and eye assemblies located between the panels of the fence. This will maintain easy operations when removing and reinstalling your fence. If any parts require replacement, contact your dealer.
The No Holes Pool Fence components are weatherproof and have been treated with UV inhibitors making them suitable for all weathers. When not in use simply disconnect the parts in reverse order to assembly and roll up the mesh fence panels for compact storage indoors or outdoors.
